Fast, safe, and sustainable
How We Ship
We take as much care in shipping our cheese as we do in making it. That’s why we ship all orders with via FedEx using biodegradable packaging and eco-friendly ice packs. We’re a small team here at FireFly, and we don’t ship every day, but we do our best to get your order out the door within 48 hours of receiving it (excluding weekends and holidays). Once you input your shipping address, you’ll see available shipping options and rates.
You place an Order
As soon as you place an order on our website, we start planning delivery. Orders ship within 48 hours, excluding holidays. So, if you place an order Tuesday by midnight (Eastern Time), it will usually ship on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. Orders placed over the weekend ship Monday.
On the Way
Once your order leaves the creamery, we’ll automatically email you a FedEx tracking number you can use to watch your package in real time. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder! In the meantime, you can prepare your cheese drawer and browse our recipes for inspiration!
Delivery
When you receive the box, open it as soon as possible and (unless you are going to eat the cheese immediately) store the contents in the fridge. Take pictures, and don’t forget to tag us on Instgram! The insulated packaging can be recycled or composted, along with the box. Re-use the ice pack as many times as you like: it’s non-toxic!
Leading in sustainability
Cutting Edge Packaging
We want you to enjoy our cheese in the comfort of your home, but we know that plastic packaging and styrofoam insulation are terrible for the planet, so we decided to go a different route. The packaging we use is sourced from Nature Pack™ and made using renewable plant starches and plant oils. The insulation can be recycled or composted (it can even biodegrade in fresh or salt water without harming marine life). The gel pack is water soluble and non-toxic.
"Everything was fresh and tasty, just as I remembered their cheeses! Thank you FireFly Farms for living up to my expectations!"
